VENICE

Venice is a residential, commercial, and recreational beachfront community of the city of Los Angeles. Along the Ocean Front Walk is the Venice Recreation Center with basketball courts, play areas with a gymnastics apparatus, handball courts, paddle tennis courts, and volleyball courts. It is known for the famous muscle beach outdoor gymnasium. Recently the $2,000,000 skate park opened with the backdrop of Graffiti Walls on the beach side of the bike path in the same vicinity.

Located in the heart of Venice is the Oakwood Recreation Center, which includes a Los Angeles Police Department stop-in center, an auditorium, a baseball diamond, basketball courts, a children’s play area, football field, an indoor gym, picnic tables, and soccer field.

For golfers there’s the Westminster Off-Leash Dog Park that residents and visitors can enjoy.
